Denver Colorado to Utah into Arches National Park.

Denver Colorado to Utah into Arches National Park.

Denver was a place we’d always wanted to visit. It reminded us a lot of Calgary Alberta, Canada. A city that has everything and on the outskirts of the Rocky Mountains. A little more desert like. Denver has lots of new development. The city has grown a lot in the last few years. With that, cost of living is high of course and there are “a lot” of housing shortages. Fun fact, Denver pipes most its water in under the rocky mountains from the Colorado River. Unfortunately the river is very polluted and running low. The well water at our rv resort was the most fowl water I’ve ever smelled, and weve had a lot of hard water, which smells like rotten eggs, since Michigan.

The park is most known for this arch, The Delicate Arch. Unfortunately, the hike there is 1.5 miles, one way, and in 99F/39C it was just too much for todays visit. Maybe another time. This is the best shot I could get from quiet a distance. There were plenty if other arches to see anyways.
