The spring before we began rV-ing we met my folks in LA for a long weekend. There’s “lots” to do and something for everyone in LA. Similar to Orlando, that they have amusement parks too. These are some of the things we enjoyed!
LA from Griffith Observatory
There are several different telescopes around the grounds too.
You can also catch a show in the Planetarium.
Tour ride.
The Water world show was a lot of fun.
We also enjoyed a few of the rides. It would have been worth it to get the express passes. Lots of waiting. The Harry Potter ride was a hoot.
Warner Brothers Tour
Ride and walk. Pretty thorough movie making tour. No live studio. Those are hard to find. What I did find for live was sitting in the audience for a gameshow which wasn’t what we were interested in.
There was a section of the tour specifically about movie making but I think those pics might bore you. This one here is fun. Its from the special effects area.

Santa Monica Pier
Matador State Park. My favourite part.
And of course, whats a trip without a good cup of coffee! We visited Demitasse. My latte looks like it might not be enjoyable with everything on top but that was not distracting or unpleasant at all. One of my favourite lattes.
Jyan Issac Bread bakery is amazing too!
