Another attraction from the area we’d already visited a few years prior that I didn’t want to leave out.
If you see a Native American tent it really is worth the stop to try some sweet fry bread. Really yummy. Some of them sell turquoise jewelry they make from local mines. A nice keepsake.
In New Mexico there is a Native American community, called Taos Pueblo, still living in mud buildings like ancient times. You can tour there for a fee. Something we’ve not gotten the chance to see but maybe one day! Follow the link to learn more.
