A Glimpse of New York City, NY

A Glimpse of New York City, NY

New York city is surrounded by lush tree covered rolling hills. Very pretty. Its late spring now and reminds us a lot of TN. The air smelled similar and had some humidity, too.

Turns out NY city area doesnt have a lot of rv parks. The one we stayed at was quiet old too. It was about 45 minutes out in the suburbs, which was one of the closer ones. There were two downtown but had no sewage hookups do to city regulations and they were pretty expensive. So, a good heads up if your looking to rv there. Because of this, we didnt stay as long as we thought we might but it helped us make a final decision about the direction of our upcoming travels!

Here are a few pics from our stay there.

You know its good when the line up is long! This is an original deli soup sandwich place make everything from scratch. Rob had the $27 pastromi sandwich and you’ll see why! Its huge, he could only eat half. It was delicious. We also enjoyed their hot dogs and sides of pickles, potato salad etc.

Ok, so, i did get a pic of the sandwich but heres the one from their website!

The Manhattan Bridge

Lower Manhattan. If you zoom in you can see the Statue of Liberty! Lol

After that New York Cheesecake at Juniors!

Yep! Delicious! No toppings needed!

There is so so much to do in this area a person could spend a lot of time here. Maybe one day we can plan to be back and stop a little while longer. But onward forward, keeping the eye on the prize! 😉
