Mother-In-Law, Mother, Grandmother
Born Sep 1, 1951 (went home on Jan 25, 2024) in Wyandotte, Michigan, 3rd of 10 children. Mother Eunice & father Robert Brusseau. She married at age 20 to Randy Kever and had her first child, Robert, my husband, at age 21. Three more children followed, John, Julie & Mike. Robs memories growing up are that of country living, gardens, corn shucks and pear trees, shared closely with her husband’s family in Michigan. Shortly after moving to Nashville TN in 1986 Laurie was diagnosed with type two diabetes. She became part of a clinical trial with Vanderbilt and long outlived DRs expectations. All the while, enthusiastically creating, whether jewelry, cards or water-paintings and joyfully sharing them with others. Most important to Laurie was her faith and concern for others in that way. Laurie with be remembered and treasured by her family and friends.
