I am not sure if I want to share my favourite spot to camp! Lol. Of all the travelling we’ve done, rv parks are more like “places to stay,” but this is where we really camp and connect with nature. McCall is a “small”mountain town, busiest in summer with visitors, probably more than the locals like now a days, as winter has a solid six months of snow. For those snow enthusiast, there are great winter activities too do too like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice fishing etc. I’ll include some pics of that from past years.

Deer walking through camp.

One thing I’ve been appreciating on our travels is the variation in architecture and homes from location to location. This area features log homes. It was hard to get pictures of them, tucked behind trees from the road, so I picked some random ones from the web, from the area, to share.

One of our favorite things to do is rent paddle boards and take them down the winding creek that goes into the lake.

This year we also enjoyed riding our bikes through the forest trails.
Loot from the town farmers market!

If you do happen to visit and are there Wednesday through the weekend Stacy Cakes bakery has the best ginger snaps cookies anywhere!
Oh! And some winter pics!
