One thing I forgot to mention last year is that these west coast cities have “a lot” of Tesla car owners and you’ll see charging stations in even the remotest podunk towns. It’s really bizarre there being hardly any services but to see Tesla charging stations.. Lol. Here in San Fran, in the downtown area, you’ll also see a lof of self driving cars taxiing people. Again, bizarre. Lol.

San Fran is similar to other big cities like Chicago and New York with their tall, clustered high rises, congested traffic, people being less friendly in busier places and homeless people. Id read that San Fran was on a bit of an economic bust and showing it but we didnt notice anything out of the ordinary for a big city. Prices are a lot higher. We saw gas today for over $5 a gallon.
What’s unique about San Fran are the rolling hills that didnt stop people from building on. Lol. Driving on some of the streets is an adventure in itself. The trollys are fun too! (The app to pay for that isnt great and only allows one passenger. We ended up buying day passes at a pharmacy on a corner beside a pickup location. $11 each.) And, there are neat areas of the city to explore like China Town and North Beach, which isnt a beach but an Italian neighbourhood with European like shops and restaurants. Diverse in culture.
It’s probably one of the funnest cities to explore.

The west coast has a lot less humidity than the east. Also, there being mountains, temperatures and weather can change altogether from one side to the other. Being cooler and cloudier on the ocean side.

China Town
Its a pretty good size. 24 block. The demographics for San Fran is about 30 percent Asian.
